Ex. LAC Yogesh Pathania appealed a District Court Martial conviction on seven charges of misconduct, upheld by the Armed Forces Tribunal. The charges included insubordinate language to a superior officer, use of criminal force, and inciting trainee unrest at an Air Force station. The Supreme Court examined whether the Tribunal erred in its findings and whether leave to appeal should be granted on grounds of general public importance. Finding the Tribunal's view plausible and supported by direct evidence from multiple witnesses, and identifying no point of general public importance, the Court dismissed both the application for leave and the appeal itself.
