In Brief
A railway employee challenged a Central Administrative Tribunal order dismissing his complaint about a defective computer during an online examination held on 9 December 2017. He claimed the malfunctioning computer prevented him from answering questions correctly and sought grace marks to qualify. The Tribunal found he first complained in December 2018 (over a year later), not December 2017 as claimed. The Supreme Court upheld the dismissal, holding that even if the petitioner's account were accepted, his ten-month delay before seeking court relief was unexplained and undermined his credibility. The Court declined to disturb the Tribunal's factual findings on the complaint date.
