Advocate Mandeep Singh Lamba

Mandeep Singh Lamba is an advocate practising independently at the Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh since 2021. He is the founder of Lamba Legal, based in Sector 19-B, Chandigarh.

He came to the law with a background in science—holding a Master of Science in Engineering Physics—and a long engagement with political and public life. That combination shapes how he works. He reads a brief the way a scientist reads a problem: isolate the facts, test the record, and build the case from first principles rather than from habit. His activism has kept the focus on constitutional rights, accountability of the State, and access to justice for people who would otherwise be pushed to the margins of the system.

His practice covers criminal law (including cyber crime, POCSO, PMLA and anti-corruption matters), constitutional and writ litigation, property, and related civil and administrative work. He also advises on contracts and appears in matters with a public-law or international-law dimension. He is a certified mediator, having completed the 40-hour Mediation Training Programme at the Chandigarh Judicial Academy organised by the Mediation & Conciliation Committee of the Punjab and Haryana High Court under the aegis of the MCPC, Supreme Court of India.

He treats court work and settlement as complementary tools. Where a dispute can be resolved with dignity and speed, he prefers that path. Where rights have to be fought for, he prepares the matter with care and argues it with clarity.
