Practice tools, a fair directory, and citizens looking for you
Free Law lists every advocate on equal terms and brings citizen requests to you. Whether an advocate is using free or paid services of Free Law, it never changes who a citizen sees. The directory order is random and rotates daily. What our paid packages offer is what tools you have and how fast you are notified when a citizen asks for you. That principle keeps every service on this page within the Bar Council of India rules - read exactly how, with the rules and case law, here.

Built to respect the Bar Council of India rules
Advocates must not advertise or solicit work, and platforms must not sell placement, labels or introductions. Every Free Law service is designed around BCI Rule 36 and the case law that interprets it - neutral listings, factual badges, citizen-initiated contact, and payment that only ever buys tools and delivery speed.
