I n Subsection 2, "Magistrate" is replaced by "Executive Magistrate" .

Section 149 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 deals with use of armed forces to Disperse assembly. Under the old law this was Section 130 of the CrPC.
