Section 2 CrPC Modified Several new subsections, such as 2(1)(a), 2(1)(b), 2(1)(d), and 2(1)(e), are added, while others, namely 2(f), 2(k), 2(q), and 2(t) of CrPC, are excluded. Furthermore, certain subsections are modified.

Section 2 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 deals with definitions. Under the old law this was Section 2 of the CrPC.
