Section 190 CrPC Modified The w ords "including any complaint filed by a person authorised under any special law" and "submitted in any mode including electronic mode " are added in clause (a ) and (b ) of subsection (1).

Section 210 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 deals with cognizance of offences by Magistrates. Under the old law this was Section 190 of the CrPC.
