Section 437 CrPC Modified In first proviso "is under the age of 16 years" is replaced by "child". In third proviso , "or for police custody beyond the first fifteen days" added. The w ords "without sureties" are excluded.

Section 480 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 deals with when bail may be taken in Case of non-bailable offence. Under the old law this was Section 437 of the CrPC.
