Section 231 BNSS Modified Last proviso state s that supply of documents to accused in electronic form shall be considered as duly furnished. "pleader" is replaced by "advocate".

Section 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 deals with supply of copies of Statements and documents to Accused in other cases triable By Court of Session. Under the new law this is Section 231 of the BNSS.
