Section 117 BSA Modified The w ords "section 498A of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860)" are replaced by "section 86 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023" in the explanation.

Section 113A of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 deals with presumption as to abetment of Suicide by a married woman. Under the new law this is Section 117 of the BSA.
