Section 162 IEA - Production of documents

Section 162 IEA is now Section 165 of the BSA - the BSA replaced the IEA on 1 July 2024.

Section 162 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 deals with production of documents. Under the new law this is Section 165 of the BSA.
