Section 23(2) BSA Modified Heading is dropped as the section is included as a subsection. Word "whilst" is replaced by "while" and words "such person" are replaced by "him" .

Section 26 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 deals with confession by accused while in Custody of police not to be Proved against him. Under the new law this is Section 23(2) of the BSA.
