Section 160 IPC - Punishment for Affray

Section 160 IPC is now Section 194(2) of the BNS - the BNS replaced the IPC on 1 July 2024.

Section 194(2) BNS	Modified	Section is included as a sub - section in BNS sans heading. Upper limit of fine is increased from one hundred to one thousand rupees.

Section 160 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 deals with punishment for Affray. Under the new law this is Section 194(2) of the BNS.
