Section 396 IPC - Dacoity with murder

Section 396 IPC is now Section 310(3) of the BNS - the BNS replaced the IPC on 1 July 2024.

Section 310(3) BNS	Modified	IPC section is included as sub - section in BNS sans heading. Minimum mandatory punishment of imprisonment is "shall not be less than ten years".

Section 396 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 deals with dacoity with murder. Under the new law this is Section 310(3) of the BNS.
