Section 331(8) BNS Modified IPC section is included as a sub - section in BNS sans heading. “by night” is replaced by “after sunset and before sunrise”.

Section 460 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 deals with all persons jointly concerned in Lurking house-trespass or house-Breaking by night punishable where Death or grievous hurt caused by one Of them. Under the new law this is Section 331(8) of the BNS.
