Section 55 IPC - Commutation of sentence

Section 55 IPC is now Section 5 of the BNS - the BNS replaced the IPC on 1 July 2024.

Section 55 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 deals with commutation of sentence. Under the new law this is Section 5 of the BNS.
