The petitioner Arunachalam and others filed special leave petitions challenging a High Court order dated 5 March 2018. The Supreme Court, after hearing the parties, found no grounds to interfere with the High Court's decision and accordingly dismissed both petitions. Any interim relief or pending applications were also disposed of in the process.
