This case concerns the validity of an arbitral award in a family property partition dispute. The District Judge had questioned the award, but the High Court upheld it. The Supreme Court affirmed that the award should be made rule of the court. The Court held that where parties mutually consent to arbitrators, no misconduct is found, and the award follows due deliberation on materials provided by both parties who were present and consenting, the award must be respected. The arbitrators' relationship to the parties is immaterial where no misconduct is alleged."
