This is a special leave petition by Bashab Bijoy Roy against the State of Assam and others concerning participation in medical counselings. The Supreme Court, at the interim stage, permitted the petitioner to participate in the ongoing counseling proceedings subject to further orders, while deferring notice to certain respondents. Notice was issued with service already effected on the State of Assam and directed to the Medical Council of India's counsel. The Court directed the State to inform the Medical Education Director immediately.
