In this criminal appeal, the accused Gopal Ansal challenged a Registrar's order dismissing his criminal miscellaneous petitions in connection with the Uphaar Tragedy case. The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal and affirmed that Ansal must surrender to serve the remaining portion of his sentence imposed by the Court's earlier order of 9th February 2017 in the criminal appeal and review petition.
