Krishna Mohan Medical College challenged the Union of India's order debarring it from admitting MBBS students for 2017-18 and 2018-19 and authorizing encashment of a bank guarantee. The Court found the alleged deficiencies in faculty and residents had been substantively rebutted by the college and that the Hearing Committee had not scrupulously examined the relevant materials, including prior Oversight Committee recommendations and DGHS observations. The Court confirmed the college's conditional permission for 2016-17 but declined permission for 2017-18, directing a fresh inspection for 2018-19."
