This appeal concerns a dispute over possession of ancestral land. A suit was filed for recovery of possession, but the trial court dismissed it on the ground that the suit was barred by limitation. The first appellate court allowed the appeal and granted the suit. However, the second appellate court again dismissed the suit on limitation grounds. The Supreme Court held that the trial court erred in law in holding the suit time-barred. The Court set aside the second appellate court's order and restored the decree granted by the first appellate court, thereby allowing the appeal.
