In Brief
This judgment disposed of multiple criminal appeals and special leave petitions arising from CBI prosecutions. Most appeals were allowed to be withdrawn without prejudice to arguments before trial courts. One appeal (Crl.A. 1394/2013) was remanded to the High Court for fresh decision based on a related precedent (Asian Resurfacing case dated 28 March 2018). One appeal was dismissed as lacking merit, and another as infructuous. The Court directed all case records be sent back to trial courts for continuation of proceedings, with specified dates for party appearances.
