The appellants sought possession of property that had been sold in a court-ordered auction due to a mortgage created by their predecessor, Govindasamy. The Trial Court upheld the validity of the auction sale, and neither Govindasamy nor the appellants challenged it at that stage. The Supreme Court held that since the appellants failed to prove their case completely, and as factual findings are the exclusive domain of the First Appellate Court, there was no basis to interfere with the lower court's decision. The appeal was dismissed.
