The Supreme Court granted a transfer petition seeking to shift a matrimonial dispute (HMA No. 109 of 2020) from the Family Court at South East, Saket, Delhi to the Family Court at Nainital, Uttarakhand. Considering that both parties' families hailed from Haldwani, and recognizing the party's physical location in Himachal Pradesh, the Court found the transfer appropriate under Section 25 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. The transferee court was directed to expeditiously decide the transferred case.
