An advocate filed a writ petition under Article 32 alleging that the Supreme Court Registry discriminated against ordinary lawyers by showing favoritism to influential practitioners. The petitioner claimed defects were unjustly pointed out in his three petitions while cases filed by prominent lawyers were processed without scrutiny. The Court dismissed the petition, finding no evidence of discrimination. All three of the petitioner's cases contained genuine defects. The Court held that the Registry, as an extension of the Court's dignity, must be respected, and advocates must maintain exemplary professional conduct. Filing careless allegations without proper investigation was inappropriate for a member of the noble profession.
