S.V. Seetha Devi vs State of Kerala & Ors

Bench: 2 — Kurian

In Brief

An employee appealed against a High Court order concerning her salary entitlements. The Supreme Court partially allowed the appeal, holding that the employee is entitled to receive her salary for the period she actually worked. The Court modified the impugned judgment to the extent that if salary for the period of work has not already been paid, it must be paid within three months from the date of the order. No other aspects of the High Court's decision were interfered with by the Court.
