Sherlyn Chopra filed a Special Leave Petition challenging a High Court order dated 25 November 2021. On 4 February 2022, the Supreme Court issued notice on the petition, made returnable in three weeks. As interim relief, the Court ordered that no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner pending the final disposition of the Special Leave Petition. The order protects the petitioner from immediate enforcement of the impugned order while the petition is pending.
