The Supreme Court held that direct writ petitions should not bypass administrative remedies. The Court declined to modify the policy, noting that vaccine safety and efficacy require scientific assessment by expert bodies. Instead, the Court allowed the petitioner to submit a representation to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, which was requested to consider it appropriately with reasonable expedition. The petition was disposed of accordingly."
