PIL filed against India’s biggest movie 'RRR' At Telangana High Court regarding spinning and twisting history of freedom movement of India

A PIL was filed by a student from Andhra Prade, in the Telangana High Court seeking to not issue a Censor Certificate and restrain the producer of Roudram Ranam and Rudhiram (RRR) to release the movie.

Alluri Sowmya criticises that making a film of the life history of two legendary patriots were contrary to their lifestyle depicted in the film RRR.

The case was heard by Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice Venkateswara Reddy.

Petitioner also seeked to stop the film from releasing.

On January 7, the film was supposed to be released in theatres. The film's release had been then postponed due to the Omicron fear in the country, as well as the Coronavirus outbreak.
