While hearing the special leave petition of the former Delhi Government Cabinet Minister against the Delhi High Court’s decision to deny bail to AAP leader Satyendra Jain in April, the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing until December 04, 2023 (Monday). The bench hearing the matter today, Justice Bela M Trivedi and Justice AS Bopanna, also agreed to extend the interim bail granted earlier this year until the next hearing (December 04). He was arrested in May 2022 by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Money Laundering case and was granted interim bail in May on medical grounds.
