The Pinnacle Court to look into the petitions on AP’s three capitals before taking up for listing

The Top Court today noted that it proposes to look into the petitions filed on Andhra Pradesh’s three capitals issue prior to listing those and postponed them for further hearing to 14th November.

The division bench composed of the Justices KM Joseph and Justice Hrishikesh Roy noted the listing of the three capitals issued in the national capital.

Andhra Pradesh government counsel strongly noted to the court to have immediate listing of the pleas filed by the Kisan from the present capital and the Andhra Pradesh government. The divisional bench ordered what was immediately involved in the issue.

Andhra Pradesh state counsel described to the divisional bench that a court contempt case was ordered against Andhra Pradesh for its non success to bring the AP High Court order to improve Amaravati as the complete capital city in a distinct duration.

But farmers' counsel noted to the bench that while the Andhra Pradesh High Court made its notice in the month of March, the Andhra Pradesh state went to the top court months later, in the month of September.

For the counsel of Farmers Fali Nariman requested the bench for a 7 day duration to note an affidavit with complete information of the case. Counsel of Andhra Pradesh state’s pleaded that the order be made on 17th November. The bench, after listening to the matter of the two sides, postponed the further hearing to 14th November.
