Section 195 CrPC Modified BNS s ections replace corresponding IPC s ections. The w ords "or of some other public servant who is authorised by the concerned public servant so to do" are added.

Section 215 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 deals with prosecution for contempt of Lawful authority of public Servants, for offences against Public justice and for Offences relating to Documents given in Evidence. Under the old law this was Section 195 of the CrPC.
