Section 195 CrPC is now Section 215 of the BNSS - the BNSS replaced the CrPC on 1 July 2024.

Section 215 BNSS Modified BNS s ections replace corresponding IPC s ections. The w ords "or of some other public servant who is authorised by the concerned public servant so to do" are added.

Section 195 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 deals with prosecution for contempt of Lawful authority of public Servants, for offences against Public justice and for Offences relating to Documents given in Evidence. Under the new law this is Section 215 of the BNSS.
