The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) governance case involved the Court's order constituting a Committee of Administrators following judicial intervention. On 24 January 2017, the Court permitted the Attorney General and counsel for State Associations to suggest names for the Committee, despite missing an earlier deadline due to inadvertence. The Court also allowed the BCCI to nominate candidates for ICC representation. All suggestions were required to comply with disqualification criteria from the principal judgment. The Court directed sealed submissions by 27 January 2017 and scheduled further hearing on 30 January 2017 to finalize the Committee composition.
