The Supreme Court reviewed two sets of review petitions challenging earlier orders by the Labour Court and High Court in an employment-related dispute. While affirming the substantive merits of both lower court decisions, the Court exercised its discretion to reduce the awarded rate of interest from twelve per cent to eight per cent per annum. Finding no error apparent on the face of the record that would justify review, the Court dismissed all review petitions while condoning the delay in their filing and rejecting applications for open court listing.
