Delhi Development Authority sought to recall a Supreme Court judgment from 2017 that had dismissed a Civil Appeal filed by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The Government's appeal had been inadvertently dismissed as part of a bunch of unrelated matters, though it was not connected to those matters. The Court found that the judgment was passed due to inadvertence and that the Government's appeal deserved to be heard separately. The Review Petition was allowed and the earlier judgment was recalled and restored to be heard alongside related appeals.
