A civil dispute arose over possession of a portion of property. The respondent's claim to adverse possession was rejected. However, the respondent had spent money on structures on the property. To serve the ends of justice, the Supreme Court allowed the appellants' appeal for possession, but on the condition that they pay compensation to the respondent for the improvements made. The respondent had a specified timeframe to vacate and hand over possession to receive this payment. If he refused, he would forfeit the compensation and the appellants could execute the original decree for possession without payment.
