In Brief
This appeal under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 concerned the validity of a preliminary notification (Section 4). The Supreme Court disposed of the appeal by allowing it in the same terms as an earlier order passed in related acquisition proceedings (Civil Appeal Nos. 7261-7262/2015) arising from the same notification. The State, having been represented in those prior proceedings without objection, was presumed not to object to this order. The Court reserved the respondents' right to seek rehearearing if they wished to object to the disposal.
