This appeal by Lohit and another against the State of Haryana was disposed of by remand to the High Court. The Supreme Court found that a related judgment had already been set aside and remitted to the Punjab and Haryana High Court by order dated 28.11.2017. Since the appellants were similarly situated to those whose matter had been remitted, the Court set aside the impugned judgment dated 28.11.2016 and remitted the case to the High Court for fresh consideration along with the connected matters already pending there.
