This case concerned a dispute over ownership of a property following a sale deed. The respondent claimed she was merely a licensee under the testator's will, while the appellants contended they acquired valid title through a sale deed. The Supreme Court held that the testator's will granted the wife full proprietary rights to sell the property, not merely a life interest. Although the will expressed a 'desire' to divide proceeds among children, this was subordinate to the primary grant of absolute authority to the wife. The sale deed was therefore valid and binding, entitling the appellants to possession. The High Court's decision was reversed.
