In Brief
The applicant sought recall of a Supreme Court order dated 03.09.2020 in a criminal transfer case and also requested recusal of one judge. The Court dismissed both prayers. It held that since an earlier identical application for recall was already dismissed, a second application for the same relief was not maintainable. The request for recusal was rejected as merely obtaining an unfavourable order cannot justify recusal, and litigants cannot seek to choose their preferred Bench. The Registry was directed not to accept further applications on the subject matter.
