P. Pramila Rani vs Narasamma & Ors

Bench: 2 — Anil R. Dave

In Brief

P. Pramila Rani appealed to the Supreme Court against High Court judgments dismissing her claim to be the daughter of Late Shri A. Punnuswamy Naidu. The Supreme Court had earlier directed additional evidence be taken before the trial court. Upon review of this evidence, the Court found the appellant had established her claim through the additional evidence adduced. The Supreme Court allowed the appeals, set aside the High Court's judgments, and remitted the cases to the High Court to reconsider them in light of the new evidence and decide the matter afresh.
