In this case, the Supreme Court was asked to review a High Court judgment that had upheld the rejection of an arbitral award by dismissing a review petition after earlier SLPs against the main judgment had already been dismissed. The petitioner, Patel Engineering Ltd, challenged orders of the High Court under Article 136. The Court found no ground for interference, observing that the High Court had thoroughly considered the matter and rightly concluded that no reasonable person could have interpreted the contract terms differently and that the awards suffered from irrationality and perversity. The SLPs were dismissed."
