Punjab State and others appealed against a decision concerning Harbans Kaur (represented by her legal representatives after her death). The Supreme Court, finding that connected matters had already been sent back to the High Court by an earlier judgment dated 11 January 2017, disposed of these appeals in terms of that earlier order. The Court directed the appellants to serve copies of the petition and judgment on the respondents and disposed of all pending applications without awarding costs.
