Flat buyers (petitioners) filed contempt petitions challenging non-payment of dues by a real estate developer. The Supreme Court considered a computation prepared by the Amicus Curiae and heard counsel for the developer, who confirmed the amount would be paid per an earlier Court order dated 21 January 2022. Rather than adjudging contempt, the Court facilitated resolution by directing the Amicus Curiae, developer's representative, and flat buyers to jointly work out payment modalities. The contempt petitions were disposed of accordingly.
