In Brief
The appellants challenged orders under the Uttar Pradesh Imposition of Ceiling of Land Holding Act, 1960, where the prescribed authority determined 2.90 acres to be in excess of ceiling limits. After appeals and a rejected application for restoration of proceedings, they filed a writ petition. The Supreme Court held that no grounds exist to revive completed ceiling proceedings through successive applications. The Court found all arguments lacked factual and legal foundation and upheld the High Court's dismissal of the writ petition. Appeal dismissed.
