In Brief
A mother sought to enforce court orders against her estranged husband for custody of their two children, filing a contempt petition. The daughter had since attained the age of majority (18 years). When brought before the Supreme Court, she clearly stated her intention to pursue her career with her father in Kuwait. The Court held that as a major, she was entitled to exercise her freedom of choice, and the Court could not inquire whether she had been pressured. For the minor son, the Court affirmed earlier orders granting interim summer custody to the mother and directed the father to provide maintenance and uninterrupted communication. The petitions were disposed of.
