The Supreme Court dismissed a special leave petition challenging an arbitral award regarding contract termination. The state of Jharkhand had terminated a contract with HSS Integrated SDN. The Arbitral Tribunal, and all courts below, found the termination was illegal and violated the contract's procedural requirements. The Tribunal then awarded the respondent unpaid amounts for work performed and partly allowed loss of profit claims. The Court upheld these concurrent findings, rejecting the state's counter-claim as properly rejected by the Tribunal. No interference was warranted where all courts had consistently found the termination illegal and awarded justified compensation. Costs were not imposed.
