The Supreme Court upheld the High Court's direction to reconsider his profile after corrections. The Court held that dispending with figurative assessment contrary to policy and illegally denying mandatory selection looks violated natural justice principles. The officer was entitled to re-assessment by the selection board on a corrected profile reflecting the policy violations. The appellants' appeals were dismissed.
